'We started Knowles Green to share our enthusiasm and knowledge for great wine and cheese with large audiences.'

With our passion, knowledge and expertise, we can help you find the very best food and drink accompaniments to enhance celebrations and elevate casual dining experiences.

We opened the shop in November 2020 and since then we have provided Bollington and its visitors with a broad selection of delicatessen goods.

We are open six days a week to provide you with wine, cheese and all the accompaniments you could need to elevate your dining experiences. Our friendly team are always on hand to welcome you and help you to find something that suits your taste.

Drop by for a morning coffee, an evening glass of wine or sample a cheeseboard prepared with up to four cheeses of your choice.

We open late three times a week and regularly host pop-up events at the shop so make sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages for more information on what is happening soon!

Dagmara

An established Artisan Cheese maker in Wales and WSET Wine Diploma Graduate, who has been privileged to work with some of the best chefs in the country including Michael Caines and Michel Roux, before moving to Bollington in June 2019 with her son Matty to be closer to some of her favourite friends and families.

Mark

A Canadian Sommelier Diploma graduate who has also been involved as a full panel judge at the International Wine Challenge in London.

Mark ended up moving to Bollington in November 2019 to be closer to the countryside and his fond memories of growing up in Canada.

Together Dagmara & Mark opened Knowles Green in November 2020 to share their passions and experiences of both food and wine.

You can find us at 114 Wellington Road in the very heart of Bollington, Cheshire.

Customers are welcome to enjoy a drink and some nibbles at the shop. With both indoor and outdoor seating available, allow our team to serve you as you unwind, try our wines and savor a cheeseboard.
